CMU Symphony Orchestra under the direction of new conductor JoungHoon Song will perform a concert of all Mozart compositions on Thursday, October 17th at 7:30 pm in the Moss Performing Arts Center Robinson Theatre.

The Orchestra will also feature Song on the first movement of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major. Also featured will be CMU faculty Jane Kuenzel on Mozart’s Andante in C Major for Flute and Orchestra.

Dr. Song received his Bachelor’s degree from Juilliard, the Master of Music and Artist Diploma degrees from Yale, and the Doctor of Musical Arts in both violin and viola from Boston University.Dr. Song has held faculty positions for The Juilliard Iceland Youth Symphony Orchestra program led by Maestro Paul Zakofsky and Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. He currently serves as violin, viola, and chamber music faculty at New England Conservatory Preparatory School and School of Continuing Education in addition to his position as Assistant Professor of Upper Strings at CMU and as Concertmaster with the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra.
