CMU Department of Music Presents New Faculty at Gala

The Department of Music at Colorado Mesa University will introduce the community to its new faculty and unveil the renovations of the Moss Performing Arts Center at the Faculty Gala on Thursday, September 13th, at 7:30.

The Music Department faculty will take the stage with a fun and varied program of solos and ensembles.  The concert will feature all of the Music faculty, followed by a catered reception in the lobby.

This year's concert will introduce new faculty member Jonathan Hinkle, Associate Director of Bands, who was invited to join the department to develop and direct CMU's new marching band.  Also performing are new faculty members Stephen Page, Saxophonist, and Kristen Yeon-Ji Yun, Cellist.

The audience is also invited to view the changes and renovations made to the Moss Performing Arts Center.

The CMU Faculty Gala will be presented in the Moss Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.  Tickets are $10 adults, $8 seniors, and $5 students.  More information is available at www.coloradomesa.edu or by calling 970-248-1604.
