The New Yorker magazine author and illustrator Roz Chast is coming to Grand Junction's historic Avalon Theatre, Saturday, February 21, at 7 p.m., to discuss her book, "Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?"

Chast's book is the 11th title featured in the "One Book, One Mesa County" series. Her appearance will conclude the five-week-long series of movies and book discussions.

In her book, "Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?" Chast mixes humor and sensitivity to convey the story of watching her parents age and die.

Currently, there are approximately 80 copies of "Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?" available for checkout at Mesa County Library locations.
