A local tradition since 1900, Cattlemen's Days always delivers on fun and excitement.

For one hundred and eighteen years, Cattlemen's Days, one of Colorado's longest-running annual events has delivered on thrills and enjoyment and this year is no different.

American Cowboy has named Cattlemen's Days one of the 101 top Western Events in the country and for good reason. The "Grandaddy of Colorado Rodeos" will thrill and excite everyone who attends with barrel racing, bull riding, and many other cowboys, and cowgirl traditions.

While you're there is also plenty of other things to do and see. July 6 through July 15 is when it all goes down,  with the rodeos scheduled for the 12, 13 and 14 of July. Make sure you have those dates off of work, and head to Gunnison and get ready to have some old west fun.

The fun starts on Friday with the 4H Horse show and Ranch Rodeo and also includes a dog and cat obedience show. Who says you can't herd cats?

There is something for everyone in Durango during Cattlemen's Days. Grab your cowboy hat and come on out.
