Drinking coffee isn't supposed to hurt, but apparently that's what happened with several Keurig Brewing Machine users, prompting the company to issue a recall.

Keurig is recalling the Mini-Plus Brewing System with model number K10. Keurig says it has received about 200 reports of system malfunctions. Apparently the machine can overheat and spray hot water during the brewing process. There have been reports of about 90 burn-related injuries.

On its website, the company  offers free repair and urges customers to exercise caution when brewing their coffee, suggesting they stay an arms length away during brewing- and to not brew to cups in quick succession.

The machines being recalled were sold on-line and in stores from 2009 through 2014 and have the number 31 printed on the bottom.
