Burger King Hacked by McDonalds?

In case you missed this on your Twitter feed yesterday! Someone hacked into Burger Kings Twitter account and replaced it with McDonald's!

According to the AP around noon yesterday BK's profile image was switched to show a photo of McDonald's new Fish McBites and the golden arches logo, with the caption, "Just got sold to McDonald's because the Whopper flopped..."!

Apparently the hackers spent an hour sending out tweets using profanity, racial slurs and drug references, before the King was able to get Twitter to freeze his account.

McDonald's of course claims no responsibility, tweeting, "We empathize with our @BurgerKing counterparts. Rest assured, we had nothing to do with the hacking."
