Boy Scout Christmas Trees Making Their Way to Grand Junction
Boy, Scout Troop 303 is gearing up for their annual Scout Tree Lot with over 700 fresh cut trees. The Scout Tree Lot opens to the public on Friday, November 27.
Scout Troop 303 has been providing excellent trees for area families for over 30 years. This year, enjoy a real, freshly-cut tree while supporting scouting in Western Colorado.
As, in the past, the troop will offer three varieties of trees in sizes ranging from 4' to 12' in height:
Douglas Fir
Grand Fir
Noble Fir
According to Scoutmaster Bruce Kronkright, "Every scout will contribute nearly 30 hours of work over the next two weeks to make this year's tree lot a success - it's a real team effort."
The tree lot is our only fundraiser for the Scout program and helps pay for summer Scout Camp and other activities throughout the year. - Bruce Kronkright
