Do you recognize these people? The Grand Junction Police Department would like to speak to them about their shopping habits.

The GJPD recently posted this surveillance footage on their official Facebook page. The video was captured at Horizon Liquor at 715 Horizon Drive.

First of all, kudos to the person who set up the surveillance camera at this store. We receive security videos all the time. Most of it makes a Bigfoot video look like a George Lucas movie shown on an IMAX screen. This footage is amazing.

I don't mean to tell the young woman at:12 how to do her job, but one of the many benefits of stealing things during a pandemic would be the ability to keep your mask on. For some unknown reason, she chose to uncover her face.

At time marker:16 you see a gentleman stuffing his pants with what could possibly be a box of Crown Royal. Wouldn't a sock be a little more practical? Not since Tom Jones has anyone augmented their nether regions with something this massive. Later, at marker:26, he takes a moment to point out some of the great values and amazing offers to other thrifty shoppers.

Do you recognize anyone in the image? Investigators with the Grand Junction Police Department believe the person in the Champion t-shirt may be connected to another crime committed a few days later.

If you have information regarding this incident or have knowledge as to the identity or whereabouts of any of the subjects, you are asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Mesa County at 970-241-STOP. As always, if your information leads to an arrest, you might be eligible for a reward.
