More Deliciousness Coming to Rimrock Drive in Grand Junction
Grand Junction's Rimrock Drive is already home to several awesome local shops catering to those of us with a sweet tooth. Another option will be opening soon.
I already visit Rimrock for take n' bake pizza, cookies, bagels, and incredible coffee. Before long, a bakery specializing in a particular variety of cake will be joining the list.
Welcome to the Neighborhood
Coming soon to Rimrock Drive, a bakery known as "Nothing Bundt Cakes." They'll be moving into Suite 300 at 2536 Rimrock Avenue.
Backstory On This Bakery
According to their official webpage, Nothing Bundt Cakes began in 1997 when founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz joined forces. Their webpage states:
Built on Dena and Debbie's vision, each bakery still has thegrand warmth and nostalgia of its home-kitchen roots, but we also take a modern approach for the world today. So whether you're enjoying a Bundt Cake or a Bundtinis®, one thing is certain – perfection is all we offer.
What Do They Offer?
Glancing at their page, it appears their name pretty much says it all. They make Bundt cakes. They come in the form of:
- 8" Bundt cakes
- 10" Bundt cakes
- Tiered Bundt cakes
- Bundlets (miniatures)
- Bendlet Towers (available in 1,2 or 3 stacked Bundlets)
- Bundtinis
Flavors include:
- Chocolate Chocolate Chip
- Classic Vanilla
- Red Velvet
- White Chocolate Raspberry
- Confetti
- Carrot
- Lemon
- Marble
- Pecan Praline
Their signature frosting is made with cream cheese and real butter. If you enjoy lighter frosting, you can choose their drizzle frosting.
Locations in Our Area
I must admit, until now, I've never heard of this company. Looking at their store locater it appears they have a number of stores in Colorado. Store locations include:
- Aurora
- Boulder
- Colorado Springs - East
- Colorado Springs - West
- Denver - Cherry Creek
- Fort Collins
- Littleton
- Lone Tree
- Longmont
- Westminster
When Can You Visit?
Their webpage states the Grand Junction location will be "Opening Soon." Sorry, neither they nor the contractor doing the buildout offers a definitive date for the store's opening. The contractor's schedule shows construction will continue through September.
Rimrock Avenue is already home to a number of incredible franchises. I visit the area so frequently my car can probably drive itself. Between Papa Murphey's, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and Crumbl Cookies, you can find pretty much anything.
