Attempted Bank Robbery In Grand Junction, Suspect At Large

Grand Junction authorities are looking for the man who attempted to rob the Wells Fargo Bank on North Avenue.

Just after 3:30 Thursday afternoon, police were called to the scene of a robbery in progress at Wells Fargo on North Avenue and 28 Road. The man reportedly fled on foot before police arrived. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect, pictured above, is described as a white male and was last seen wearing a Boston Red Sox baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a tan winter jacket, and has a light-colored goatee. The investigation is continuing.
