Suspect Sought: Armed Robbery In Grand Junction On Wednesday
The Grand Junction Police department is looking for the suspect in an armed robbery Wednesday night in Grand Junction.
According to GJPD, a man went into the Alta Gas Station at 2525 Broadway and pointed a gun at the store employee behind the counter. The man demanded money and, reportedly, made off with more than $200 cash just after 9:00pm on Wednesday.
The subject is believed to be in his mid-20’s to early-30’s, slender build, 5’ 10”, and last seen wearing a brown ski mask, black/gray hoodie, and dark jogging pants.
Surveillance photos were captured, and the quality is extremely poor. However, police are asking anyone who might have information about the robbery or know who the suspect is, to please contact them at 970-242-6707.
If by some stroke of chance or miracle you can identify the suspect or happen to come in contact with him, police advise you not to approach him, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
