This week, the mighty Desert Flyer Band breaks away from their quest for the ultimate adult beverage, and take a walk on the wild side with a little good ol' fashioned Moonshine.

Now this is the kind of Moonshine Aunt Bee would drink. The Desert Flyer Band's "Booze In Review" features the crude but oh' so yummy apple cinnamon taste of Junior Johnson's "Midnight Moon." The band's intrepid shopper Bob Sours originally had his sights set on another Scotch, but was sidetracked by the recommendations of a hippy shopping at the same liquor store. Bob, always quick to follow the suggestions of homeless persons, chose to pursue the selection. "Midnight Moon" comes in a variety of flavors including original, Blackberry, Cranberry, Blueberry, Cherry, Strawberry, and today's selection, Apple Pie.

The band members found the beverage most enjoyable when slightly watered down. This is most definitely a sipping beverage, due to its high alcohol content and extremely sweet taste.

Midnight Moon Apple Pie is a handcrafted blend of Midnight Moon, apple juice, and a cinnamon stick. As they blend and age, these ingredients create a 70 proof spirit that tastes just like homemade apple pie. Well, not really, it's a bit sweet for my taste, but, not too bad. I give it Three Dancing Bananas." - Bob Sours   Vocals/Rhythm Guitar

This is good. Too good. This is just the kind of drink that can catch you off guard with extreme consequences. The flavor is so smooth and enjoyable, one could easily drink way too much without realizing it. Most definitely a sipping beverage to be enjoyed occasionally as a diversion from the norm. I give it a solid Three Dancing Bananas." - Waylon Jordan  Bass
