Are you taking advantage of the services and resources at the Mesa County Library? Chances are you may not be using it enough.

I'm feeling a bit guilty. I stopped by the main branch of the Mesa County Library last Saturday. Upon checkout, I discovered my library card was long since expired. Embarrassing!

It seems there was a lengthy hiatus between my last checkout at the library. In my defense, I have visited various branches on several occasions. I simply haven't checked out any books.

Typically, I purchase books at a local retailer. My preference is to always shop local, so my shopping leans to the local guy. Recently, though, my purchases have included a few books off of Ebay.

For some reason, I've neglected the public library. There's no need to always "own" the book I'm after. During my Saturday trip, I found the very book I've been waiting for. The low, low price of free was pretty hard to beat.
