Luke Bryan, Gabby Barrett + More Added to 2021 CMA Awards Performers List
The country superstar and the fast-rising singer are just two of the new names the CMA announced in a press release on Thursday morning (Nov. 4). Bryan is set to perform his current single, "Up," while Barrett will perform her No. 1 hit, "The Good Ones."
Dierks Bentley will also take the stage alongside Breland and Hardy to perform their current collaboration, "Beers on Me," while Thomas Rhett will sing his chart-topping "Country Again." Keith Urban is slated to perform "Wild Hearts," and Zac Brown Band will deliver a live rendition of their unity anthem, "Same Boat."
In addition to the new country names added to the broadcast, singer and actor Jennifer Hudson is slated to make her CMA Awards debut. The newly announced performers join an all-star lineup that includes Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood, who will perform their chart-topping hit "If I Didn't Love You" at the ceremony. Miranda Lambert and Luke Combs will also perform at the awards show.
Blake Shelton and Eric Church were two of the first artists announced for the Nov. 10 show in Nashville, along with Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde. On Oct. 27, the Country Music Association revealed eight more performers; a full list of artists and songs (if announced) is below.
Church and Chris Stapleton are the leading 2021 CMA Awards nominees, with both artists up for Entertainer of the Year (Combs, Lambert and Underwood join them as nominees in that category). Church is the reigning Entertainer of the Year winner.
Presenters for the 2021 CMA Awards will also be announced at a later date. The show returns to Nashville's Bridgestone Arena this year.
