You May See ATV’S On Horizon Drive City Council Approved

The City Council has given temporary approval to allow ATV's to drive on the street using Horizon Drive. An ATV and UTV company has asked the city council for approval to use Horizon Drive, otherwise, the company has to load their off-road vehicles on to a trailer and take them to the desert using 27 1/2 road.

The amendment that the city council approved is only for this particular company and does not allow other off-road vehicles to use the road in this manner. The trial period starts in July then ends in December of 2020. After that, the City will decide if the company can continue to use this road in the same manner.
