You Are Invited to Retirement Party for CMU Professor

Colorado Mesa University professor Byron Evers will be retiring after 24 years with the institution, and you are invited to his not-so-secret retirement party this afternoon.

Professor Evers joined the faculty at then Mesa State College in 1989 as part of the Mass Communications Program. While he will remain with the faculty to teach J-Term courses over the summer, the Spring 2013 semester marks the end of his full-time teaching career at the University.

You are invited to an informal retirement party for Professor Evers today, Friday, May 3rd, on the 3rd floor terrace at the Academic Classrooms Building. The reception will begin at 1:00 and will last approximately one hour.
