Would You Donate a Kidney to An Ex?

The power of Facebook is amazing. This has been displayed many times over, after people needing organ donations post their situations and complete strangers respond. It was made even more obvious to me in a story I heard recently about a woman named Dorothy Wolferseder.

Apparently 72-year-old Dorothy's kidneys started failing, so she posted a message on Facebook stating that they were searching for a suitable donor. The amount of response wasn't what was surprising however, it was WHO responded.

Believe it or not her Ex-Daughter In-Law saved her life by offering to donate a kidney! That's right, years after being divorced from Dorothy's son, Scott,  Erica Arsenault responded saying, "My kidneys are yours."

So for today's question of the day I wanna know if you'd donate an organ to an ex? Whether it be a husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, in-law, boss or friend.

Personally I admire folks that can do this. My father, when he passed away, had many of his organs donated & for that reason I plan on having my organs donated after I pass away too, but I am so scared of any type of surgery that I would have to care deeply about someone before I would go under the knife while I was living.
