Many businesses in Sweden are reaping the benefits from a new 6 hour work day.

Toyota service centers in Gothenburg report a 25% increase in profit since they made the switch. They also report a lower turnover rate, a happier staff and a much easier time hiring the best people because everyone wants to work there.

Linus Feldt, who is the CEO of the Filimundus Company says that the traditional 8 hour work day is just not as effective as we think. He goes on to state that the logic behind this change is that working a shorter day, staff will be more motivated and focused, completing the same amount of work in a shorter span of time.

Along with that, Feldt has also discovered a reduced number of staff conflicts. Apparently due to the fact that employees are happier and better rested.

Now this is something I think we can all get behind.
