Have you ever been to a concert featuring a person using sign language to convey the song lyrics? We're not talking about a church performance or a concert with someone signing the program notes. No, we're talking a stadium Rock or Country concert with someone busting out the lyrics with sign language? Have you seen this?

The video above was recorded last Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado. The featured act was Rock superstars Heart.

They put on a killer show, and as an added bonus, they included a person using sign language to convey their song's lyrics to the hearing impaired. This person was standing just left of the stage, with their own spotlight, for the duration of the show.

Not only could this lady sign, she could totally bust a move. She was almost as much fun as the band.

Should this feature be included with all live performances? Do you know someone who would benefit from this service? Would it even be possible for someone to sign the lyrics if the act were let's say, a Death Metal band? It's hard enough for those with hearing to understand what those guys are saying.

This particular feature is not entirely new. Some shows, and a number of major tours include people providing sign language. Should it be more common, though?

The next time you buy tickets to a concert event, ask, or even suggest, the performance includes someone who can sign the lyrics so all can enjoy.
