It's a pretty popular trail, but a lot of people have never experienced Grand Junction's Audubon Trail. If you are one of those, perhaps this will inspire to put on your hiking shoes and give this trail a look.

Before long, leaves will be coming on the trees and the trail will take on a much more colorful look - and perhaps greater wildlife viewing opportunities. But, for now, this hike is still a great winter option if your favorite hiking spots are too muddy and sloppy.
