Where Will You Find Grand Junction’s Best Breakfast?
September is almost here, and it's Better Breakfast Month. Many maintain breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Where will you find Grand Junction's finest?
According to eatfithealth.com, breakfast eaters tend to be healthier in that they have shown a lower prevalence of overweight and obesity when compared to breakfast skippers. They add the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey examined the diets of 4,218 adults, showing that breakfast eaters, particularly women, were more likely to have a BMI under 25.
Personally, I'm a breakfast skipper. I don't mean to, but it seems to work out that way. I hit the snooze about four or five times, and then get up in a panic and rush for the door. One of the reasons why I've always kept my hair so short is so it could be combed in 20 seconds or less. Who has time for that stuff?
Back in the good old days I would gather with friends at Talley's on Main Street almost every day. Those days are long gone.
Aside from the bad breakfast habits, I would like to believe my lifestyle is a fairly healthy one. Let's make it a little healthier. If one were to go out for breakfast in Grand Junction, where would you say is the best place to go? Let's take into account a number of factors:

Two weeks ago a friend invited me out to breakfast at Cafe Sol. I had never been there before. My selection came to $10. It was an absolute revelation. The quality and quantity were fantastic, and while I'm certainly no expert, it seemed to be of good nutritional value.
Where will you find Grand Junction's finest? Let's take all venues into account. Let's not forget about the mom and pop joints. Then again, there are those handfuls of eateries that tend to fall between the cracks. Keep them in mind. Don't forget about the fast food joints, either.
