I remember when I lived in Missouri how our neighborhoods would light up at Christmas time. I love twinkling lights and Holiday music, and there were times I would drive around for hours trying to find the best Christmas lights in the city.

I can wait to drive around Grand Junction to find the best lights.

It is fun to gather up your friends and family and head out with a thermos full of hot cocoa and look at all the lights around town. What neighborhood do you visit that does the best at putting up lights?

If you have a favorite block, I would love for you to share it, in the meantime, if you feel like driving to Denver, there will be a mile long Christmas light show. It opens on Friday at Water World in Federal Heights.

Tickets are $25 per vehicle Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Prices increase to $30 on Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and in the five days before Christmas.
