What’s the Best (And Worst) State to Be Single in 2017?
You may be single and ready to mingle, but not everyone is.
WalletHub, fresh off its rankings of the best cities for Valentine's Day, has now come out with its best states for singles.
The site cultivated its list by looking at nearly two dozen factors across three platforms: dating economics, dating opportunities and romance and fun.
So, if you're all by your lonesome this Valentine's Day, fret not, especially if you're in Washington, which emerged as the top state for singles. Sadly, if you're not in a relationship in Mississippi, may we recommend moving? That state came in dead last. In fact, more than half of the bottom 10 states are in the South. Either Southern gentlemen are a thing of the past or they just can't find all those Southern belles we always hear about.
Hmm, maybe residents would be wise to try the online dating thing.
