What Motivated Lee Greenwood to Host Fundraiser in Grand Junction? [VIDEO]
Country star Lee Greenwood will make his way to the historic Avalon Theatre in Grand Junction next week to perform a concert benefiting Western Colorado kids. What motivated him to share his time and talent with a local organization?
Lee Greenwood's performance at the Avalon will benefit G.A.N.G. (Giving Adolescents New Goals), a local children's support organization. The show is coming up Saturday, May 14. Doors open at 5:30, and the concert starts at 6:30.
Check out the video above. Lee discusses the backstory behind this fundraiser. I apologize in advance for the fact the audio is over-modulated.
Tickets range from $30 to $50, and are available at:
- Townsquare Media at 315 Kennedy Ave (Open M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- Veterans Art Center
- Fruita Wood and BBQ Supply
- Starvin' Arvin's in Delta
Wouldn't it be great if they had a full house at the Avalon for the show? Let's make that happen. Get your tickets now.
