What Grand Junction Business is Moving Into the Old City Market at 1st and Orchard?
A longstanding Grand Junction business is moving into the vacant City Market building at 1st and Orchard. Who's moving in?
It just so happens The Encore Shoppe, a clothing consignment business serving Western Colorado since dinosaurs roamed the Earth, will be the new resident. The Encore Shoppe made the announcement earlier today via their official Facebook page.
For some time now, the old City Market store, which if memory serves, used to be called Store #9, has been empty. Windows were boarded up a few years ago, "No Skateboarding" signs were hung on the outside wall, and everything went quite. With the exception of a handful of cars waiting to be worked on at the nearby Atlas Automotive, there hasn't been a vehicle in the parking lot in years.
Welcome to the neighborhood, Encore Shoppe. It's good to see this building back in use again.
