What Each Rose Color Really Means

So many different rose colors. Do you know what they all mean?

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, guys are sent scrambling to their local flower stores in search of the red rose. But, what about all those other colored roses that are in stores? What are they for? The great people at Morrison's Gardens have supplied this chart.

Believe it or not, each rose color has it's own meaning.

That's why you get the weird looks when you give a black rose on a first date. Or when you present a lavender rose to your Mom or your sister. Don't be that guy.

I know it can get confusing, but to know the basics of rose colors will save you a great deal of embarrassment down the road. You don't have to memorize these differences. My suggestion? Print this chart out in wallet size and carry around with you at all times. You never know when there might be a rose emergency.
