What Does Blake Shelton Have on His Concert Rider?
Basically, a rider is a list of things that the artist feels that they have to have in order for them to perform. Everything needs to be provided by the venue, promoter or some other source.
If you have never seen one of these, this may seem like an awful lot of demands, but it's pretty standard actually.
Still, there are some interesting choices. Like the Large Stuffed Crust or Meat Lover's pizza with fat-free ranch dressing. What? It's too late for fat-free ANYTHING after one of those pizzas. Plus, the obsession with Orbit gum.
But, it is amazing to see pages and pages of particular items that are being requested. Wouldn't that be great if you could create your OWN rider for your workplace? Imagine the items that could ask for. Every day, a case of bottled water at exactly 37 degrees Celsius and a Moon Pie on your desk or you're not performing.
Is it fair that these rich and famous artists get even MORE free stuff before they will hit the stage?
