The weekend of January 29 - 31 might just be one of the best weekends for live music on record. The Grand Valley and surrounding areas have tons of music coming their way, compliments of some of the best bands in the region. Here's the rundown:

Whatever your tastes may be, you'll find something to enjoy this weekend. Looking to do a pre-St. Patrick's Day celebration? The Western Slope Concert Series has both Grand Junction and Montrose covered. Looking for Country music. You have option-o-plenty.

    Shea Bramer - Double Tree Hotel

    Friday 8pm to 11pm

    You can find Shea Bramer most any Friday night at the Double Tree Hotel on Horizon Drive. Wait a minute! By that we mean you can find him performing music. Make your way to the lounge on the ground floor. No cover!

    Huey, Dewey, and Louie - Charlie Dwellington's

    Friday 6pm to 9pm

    Huey, Dewey, and Louie have been performing throughout Western Colorado since the '70s. Following their stint in Seattle, followed by their national tour, they made their way back to the valley. Swing by Charlie Dwellington's on West Main.

    Rock N' Swing - Moose Lodge

    Friday 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm

    Rock N' Swing returns to the Moose Lodge on 25 1/2 Road in Grand Junction, with an evening of great standards and dance music.

    Friday 7pm to 10pm

    Rockin' Mahogany is Scotty Waters along with the Goodman Band. Make your way downtown this Friday night for great Rock and Blues. Hit Gerry up for some Johnny Cash... he'll love your forever.

    Jack + Jill make their way to downtown Grand Junction for a great gig at Sabrosa. Check out their show, and then pick up a copy of their album.

  • Led Stetson

    Led Stetson - Central Station

    Saturday 8:30pm

    Led Stetson is back at Central Station for the 3rd weekend in a row. Check out the best dance floor in the valley. Ride the free shuttle.

    Goodman Band - Stix Bar

    Saturday 9pm to close

    The Goodman Band will be playing Stix Bar just off of North Avenue, behind Auto Zone. This venue has been around forever. It's open again, and one of the best bands out there will be playing this Saturday. Hit Gerry up for Rock, Blues, and most definitely some Johnny Cash.

    Celtic Explosion - Avalon Theatre

    The Western Slope Concert Series presents "Celtic Explosion" featuring "Feast." They broke out the whole outfit: Great music, champion Irish step dancers, lights and production, and put together a huge show.
