Western Colorado’s ‘Desert Flyer Band’ to Open Show for Phil Vassar

Grand Junction's long-running group "The Desert Flyer Band" will do the opening show for Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year Phil Vassar when he comes to the Mesa Theater and Lounge on August 9th.

The members of the Desert Flyer Band are excited about getting to perform for a concert crowd once again. You've seen them perform at the Bud Light Colorado Pork and Hops Challenge, the Montrose Music Festival, and at various venues around the state.

For the August 9th performance with Phil Vassar, the Desert Flyer Band is planning to bust out some music from Chris Ledoux, The Outlaws, Marshall Tucker Band, and maybe an original or two.
