Major Mortgage Country Jam fans were saying it back in June of 2006 that Miranda Lambert was on her way to becoming Country Music royalty. Seven years later, it is once again crystal clear that Western Colorado audiences knows exactly what they were talking about.

In 2006, Miranda Lambert took the stage at Major Mortgage Country Jam as one of the early afternoon acts. It's just like I overheard Chris Cagle say that very same year at the Jam, "You know you've made it to the big time when you play Country Jam after dark." Cagle was referencing the fact that headline acts typically play the Jam later in the evening, while "up and comers" play early in the day. That year, Miranda was still fairly new, and she played while the sun was still high in the sky. Miranda took the stage, and everyone knew they were looking at the future of Country Music.

Seeing Miranda Lambert for the first time was one of the Greatest Experiences I have gotten the pleasure to do. A talented artist who pours her heart and soul in the show, dips down and makes you feel every emotion. To top it all off I won Meet and Greets that year, so I got to meet her with my mom Meeting one of your heros, who does what you want to do one day is an indescribable feeling. Let's just say I can't wait to see her again this year!" - Dakota Rae McKinnon - Country Jam Fan

Well, now it's seven years later, and as it happens, things change. Miranda has gone from a much beloved act on her way to the top, to being the pinnacle act in Country. Recently, she has performed at the Superbowl, the Giant Center, the Century Link Center, the Sprint Center, and will soon be coming to Fiddler's Green.

Western Colorado music lovers have watched Miranda score #1 hit after hit, and bring home the biggest awards the industry has to offer.

Check out Miranda Lambert coming to Major Mortgage Country Jam exactly one week from today, Friday, June 21st, taking the stage at 9:30.
