Are you ready for a live concert featuring sixteen of your favorite Western Colorado musicians? The Western Colorado Jazz Orchestra is set to return with a live "Players Choice" concert.

Can you believe the Western Colorado Jazz Orchestra hasn't performed publicly since last winter? Thanks to COVID-19, the spring and summer concert seasons completely evaporated. Here we are, getting all set for fall, and the band is back.

The WJCO will make their triumphant return on Thursday, September 24, at Grand Junction's Warehouse 2565 Kitchen + Bar. In preparation for this show, the band's director, Greg Karly, requested the band members help select the programming for the show. So, in the end, this will be a "Players Choice" presentation.

Things are a little different since last March. Many restrictions remain in place when it comes to social distancing guidelines. Some things to remember for this upcoming show include:

  • Seating is general admission and socially distanced
  • No dancing permitted
  • Limited seating available
  • Food and beverages available for purchase

Seating will be available starting at 6:30 on Thursday, September 24. The music will start at 7:30. Tickets are $15 each.

Warehouse 2565 Kitchen + Bar has proven to be excellent for the WCJO. Hightop table seating is available, as is bar seating. It's a very "live" room, and the soundman is a top pro in anyone's book.

This performance is proving to be a very big deal for the musicians. These artists love to play, and they've missed having opportunities to play for you. This will be every bit as much fun for them as it is for you. Come support live music on September 24 with the return of the Western Colorado Jazz Orchestra.
