The Western Colorado car show season is about to get into full swing, and the 21st annual Western Colorado Community College Car Show will be among the first shows of the year.

This year's car show, put on by the students of the WCCC Transportation Services program will be held on May 7 at the college, located at 2508 Blichmann Avenue and is a fundraiser for the program.

The students design and build the car show as well as the trophies, t-shirts, and flyers.

The public will have a chance to vote for their favorite car, giving car owners the chance to win a trophy.

Appropriate vendors are welcome to set up a booth for a nominal charge. Vendors and car owners wanting to participate should call Jim Goetz at 255-2615, or you can visit them in the Youngblood Building on Blichmann Avenue.
