Most men find it hard to be romantic, especially around Valentines Day. Every once in a great while, God makes a man who is in touch with his romantic side. I, unfortunately, am not one of those. So I asked our listeners yesterday what I can do to be romantic on Valentines Day. Here is some of the feedback we got.

Most of our listeners said that to be romantic you can start off by making a home cooked meal. I have maybe one or two recipes that I can pull out and cook well. If you don't have a recipe you can always find one online. Try Food Networks website. Keep the woman out of the kitchen, and cook a 3 course meal if you can. You can tie her over with a bottle of wine, or maybe throw on one of her favorite records.

It's crazy to me that just a small thing like cooking dinner can be classified as romantic. I guess it's the small things that really mean the most. Keep that in mind as you plan out your romantic Valentines Day dinner.

After dinner there are a few different things you can do. Some of our listeners recommended watching a romantic comedy. Here are a few ideas: Serendipity, Valentines Day, Pretty Woman, He's Just Not That in to You. If you need other ideas try looking at IMDb's 100 Romantic Comedies.

If she is not that in to watching movies, we had numerous listeners tell us to run her a scented candle lit bath. Not sure what that even means. Scented candles I guess, but a few listeners suggested washing her back or giving her a massage afterwards. Simple and easy.

You know that most women expect flowers, chocolates or a card. You don't have to go crazy with the flowers. One simple rose or her favorite flower will work fine. We had some suggestions that you could make her a homemade Valentines Day card. Throw some glitter on there (you know how woman love glitter), write from the heart if at all possible. Maybe surprise her by leaving it for her in her car, or putting it somewhere she'll find it in the morning. Once again, it's the simple things that count.
