Waylon Found Some Strange Things Cleaning His Truck

Wow! Check it out. This was back in the day when Blake Shelton was an opening act for Sugarland. How things change.

This was my all-time favorite gym. Unfortunately, they went out of business several years ago.

A woman I was dating around 2003 made this Neil Diamond "love mix" CD for me. I found it in the CD player of the truck. My guess is it had been in there for about 15 years.

This is my G-string. Hey, get your mind out of the gutter. Not that kind of G-string. This is the "G" to my double bass. You know, the giant instrument that stands at the back of an orchestra. At one time, I had a full set of strings in my truck: E, A, D, and G. This is the only one I found. Kind of like my other G-strings, it never got used.

I have three questions:

1. Who gave this to me?
2. When did they give it to me?
3. Why in the world didn't I use it?

Holy crud! How old is this thing? That's probably been rolling around on the floor since about 2002.

I found this with the $25 gift card still intact. I put it to use last night so a friend and I could go see Avengers: Infinity War. Now I wish I'd never found it. That's three hours of my life I want back.

Believe it or not, the truck I purchased new in 2002 came with a cassette deck. What did I find in it? Best of Bond. This a cassette with the all-time best James Bond themes. I would guess it had been in the tape player since 2007.

Finally, a decent find. I've been searching for this son-of-a-b**** for about ten years. That's my excuse for not having read any books lately. Seriously, I've been searching all over for this one. Can't wait to put it to use.
