Walgreen's raised their age limit to 21 to buy tobacco or vaping products, and now Walmart is joining in. Basically, anything that has nicotine in it you will need to be 21 years old if you plan on shopping at Walgreens or Walmart. This is to help crack down on the sales of nicotine product to minors. The new rules will take effect in July.

This is especially good news for Colorado where according to the Jefferson County Health Department, it is a crisis in Jefferson County. Not only are Colorado teens vaping more than the National average they are four times as more likely to vape than to smoking cigarettes.

According to a recent survey, 1 in 3 adolescents reports using some form of tobacco and or nicotine. According to the survey, less than 10 percent smoke tobacco but 27 percent vaped. If you would like to be tobacco free or vape free or maybe you use chewing tobacco call the Colorado QuitLine they can help. Call 1-800-QUIT-NOW
