Vote on Your Favorite 150th Anniversary Colorado License Plate
Colorado's 150th anniversary is quickly approaching and the Department of Motor Vehicles of Colorado wanted to do something that has never been done before. A license plate designed by a Colorado resident and voted on by Colorado residents.
The contest to design a new commemorative license plate for the state of Colorado started on September 19, 2022, and more than 300 entries came in from 216 entrants. Children under the age of 13 made up 82 entrants with 97 submissions.
The designs were categorized into two sections, over the age of 13 and under the age of 13. Three finalists from each category were chosen and these are the finalists for the Historic Colorado License Plate Design contest.
