A Denver man was chased by a grizzly bear in Montana after a car he was in stopped to film the mom and her cubs.

The man who captured the wild video is Calvin Barret, a professional skier based out of Denver.

At first, the video shows a bear cub trying to climb over a snowdrift on the edge of the road. Barret is in the back seat filming as the driver slows down. A few seconds after the momma bear turns to help the cub, she decides the vehicle is a little to close and charges it. Nobody was hurt as the driver quickly drove away and the bear gave up.

Barrent said this to Denver 7:

Couldn't really believe it at first. I was like, a little naive to how intense it was. Because it all happened so quick.
