Nurse Alex Wubbles, who was arrested and literally dragged out of her workplace, has reached a hefty settlement. Is it fair?

A lawyer representing Wubbles stated that $500,000 is the agreed upon amount of the settlement.

This whole story began when nurse Alex Wubbles at University Hospital in Salt Lake City refused to draw blood from a particular patient. Police detective Jeff Payne eventually got fed up with her behavior and out of nowhere forcibly arrested and physically led her out of the hospital. The video is quite scary.

It turned out that nurse Wubbles did the exact right and legal thing by not drawing blood. Detective Payne has since been terminated.

But, $500,000? Does that seem like a fair amount? And where exactly does that money come from?
