While I understand there will be a lot of people that disagree with me on this, I don't believe that doing a reunion television show for Friends is a good idea. Just like most people I have seen every episode of the tremendous show. In fact, I have rewatched every episode on Netflix multiple times. It's one of those shows you can have on in the background and still laugh at their funny jokes. But I still don't like the idea of a reunion show.

When the show is so iconic as Friends is, I don't believe there is anything to gain by bringing it back. The reunion special is rumored as not a traditional Friends episode but instead, it's going to be interviews with the cast members and is expected to tell stories about the cast that haven't been heard before by fans. It will also go into what the show meant for each of the cast members.

To me, it seems more like a wrap-up documentary and a way for HBO Max to try to get people to sign up for their monthly subscription fee. There won't be any resolutions to storylines that you want to see so it's almost like a tease for fans that just want to see if Ross and Rachel actually end up together.

Even as a big fan of the show Friends I won't be signing up to see this reunion special. Is this one show enough for you to sign up for HBO Max, or will you put in the effort to see it?
