According to the Washington Post, the American job market finally has a little pride in its stride. The Unemployment rate fell to 7.8% during the month of September, the lowest unemployment rate in 44 months, the Labor Department said last Friday. The dip in unemployment is showing to be not so much a result of people searching for jobs, but rather the fact that more people reported having them.

Analysts had predicted an increase of over 100,00 jobs for the month of September, with employers reporting slightly higher results with new job totals at 114,000.
