I got to admit that saying "no" to a slice of pumpkin pie this time of year Is tough. I love the taste of a good pumpkin pie.

It seems like each year I say to myself, "this year I'm going to hold back. I'm going to watch what I eat. I'm not going to eat so much." Too funny, because that's never the case.

I don't know if it makes me feel better to tell myself those things, or what? It's kind of like, "the diet starts Monday" phrase. It never happens.

Saying no to foods that not only taste delicious but many times bring merry memories is super hard.

Cheri says her weakness is dark chocolate sea salt caramels and homemade cream cheese pies. Yummy, Cheri.

I'm right with Meghan. Everything. Pie, stuffing, dinner rolls, but she loves the butter. I could do without that unless it's real whipped butter, then I'm in.

Pumpkin pie, Fudge pecan pie, and Dutch apple pie sound so good right now.

Michele also added cheesy potato casserole and this sounds interesting and Arby's Deep Fried Cajun Turkey Sandwich. Hmmm. I might have to try that.

Candy Corn, Gingerbread Cookies, and Puppy Chow. All sound scrumptious.

Now here's one I could say no to. Yikes. Sorry, Jim.

Danielle makes a good point: a lot of these favorites are a once a year deal. Enjoy them while you can. It'll be a whole year before you get another chance.

Also, Danielle, my other weakness would be my mom's mashed potatoes, either with gravy or green chili. Oh my goodness, I'm getting hungry writing this.

'Tis the season to be jolly. Enjoy.
