Tomorrow is ‘National Coming Out Day’ – How Exactly Does One Do That? [VIDEO]

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 11, is "National Coming Out Day." While one can think of several things one might be "coming out" as, for example, being a Chocoholic or a Trekkie, it seems this particular event is aimed at a specific demographic. So, if one wants to come out, how exactly would they go about it?

Okay, here it goes: "Mom, Dad..... I'm a Trekkie, and you have to accept it." How was that? I'm going to lay that one on my parents tomorrow, even though I somehow suspect they already know.

Okay, let's say someone is going for the big time. Someone wants to reveal their orientation to their friends and family. How do they break the news?
