Girl Who Donates Hair Is As Generous As She Is Adorable

My daughter Alli showed me this video and it absolutely melted my heart. Partly because of this darling three-year-old's generosity, but mostly because my own daughter has done the same thing. So I know first hand how incredible this act of kindness is.

Watching Emily James, the girl in the video, brought back memories of my own daughter's hair that was so long the only way I could style it was in a pony tail. Although Alli was a few years older when she donated hair to Locks of Love, both her and the girl in the video completely understand why they did it and how much it means.

Alli is in college now, working towards a degree that will eventually allow her to help sick kids by offering more than just locks of her hair. As for Emily, it's possible, maybe even likely, she'll follow a similar path.
