This Happened Here in Grand Junction?

Just about a year ago, an arrest was made in the murder case of Paige Birgfeld.

What has me stunned, I had NO idea that something like this happened here. I have only been in Grand Junction since May of this year. Just happened be going through some older recorded shows on my DVR over the weekend and came across an episode of Dateline NBC "Secret Life of a Soccer Mom."

When Keith Morrison said 'Grand Junction', literally jumped out of my chair. I don't think I even blinked an eye or even took a breath while watching the entire episode.

It made me shiver and to think back to 2005 when I was doing Radio in Green Bay, WI and the horrific case of Theresa Halbach. 

Things like this are not supposed to happen in the town you live in. It was an absolute bizarre scene for weeks and months in Green Bay. Similar, I would imagine to what is was like here in 2007.

For sure do not want to drag up painful memories, but curious as to what it was like here in Grand Junction when this was going on.
