Wildlife officials in Colorado are urging anyone that comes in contact with a dead or sick bird to keep on walking. Do not touch the bird. Stay away from dead or sick birds. sick birds.

Officials say there is a bacterial infection known as duck disease. and it affects waterfowl but can also spread to other birds. Most of the birds have been found in Denver.

If you come across a dead waterfowl, you can report it to your local park.
