The two stars joined forces for a performance of their 'She Had Me at Heads Carolina' remix at the 2023 ACM Awards.

The pair brought a mashup of Swindell's recent hit and Messina's breakout single to the ACM Awards on Thursday night.

She knew exactly what to say to put everything in perspective.

"I thought you did a killer job."

She says she's never been known as a writer.

"Everything is looked at through a lens of gratitude," Messina says.

The massive tour takes in more than 45 dates.
