The debate over whether the Confederate flag should be removed from official offices in the South has become a hot button issue in the wake of the the mass church shooting in South Carolina.
Amid continued controversy over the Confederate flag, corporations seem to be racing one another to pull down anything and everything associated with the Civil War symbol. The Dukes of Hazzard even had the image taken off merchandise of the iconic General Lee (which kept the name, for … reasons?), and now TVLand has upped the ante by pulling them Duke boys off their lineup altogether.
Walmart, the nation's largest retailer, announced on Monday night that it would no longer sell any items featuring the Confederate flag. The move comes following the massacre of nine black churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina, last week, allegedly committed by 21-year-old white man Dylann Roof.
