4th of July

As the 4th of July approaches and we celebrate the 238th birthday of our country I thought I would share a few thing you shouldn’t do with fireworks. Like many I had bottle rocket wars in the back yard but maybe it’s a bad idea to set your face on fire with fireworks.

The good news for campers this Fourth of July holiday weekend is that for the first time in years there will be no fire restrictions and campfires will be allowed. There are still rules in place concerning fireworks.

July Fourth may conjure images of fireworks and hot dogs, but sitting in traffic could also be included among the festivities.

Everyone (or just about everyone) will have to agree with this statement – this week is definitely a weird week, due to the fact that a holiday (Independence Day) falls on a Thursday. For some people, this means a longer than usual weekend.
