The 2018 CMA Awards will take place on Nov. 14, but before the all-star party at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for the 52nd annual event, The Boot wants to know who our readers think will go home with the awards in each of the show's 12 categories. We've rounded up the details on all of the nominees, from Musician of the Year to Entertainer of the Year, and we want your input.

Song of the Year is an award given to the songwriter(s) of the winning track. Last year, Taylor Swift took home the trophy for penning the song "Better Man" for Little Big Town. This year, Sam Hunt is up for the award with a repeat nomination for his record-breaking hit "Body Like a Back Road," which was written by Hunt along with Zach Crowell, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.

Chris Stapleton's "Broken Halos," written by Stapleton and Mike Henderson, is also on the list of nominees, which is no surprise; after all, the song won Stapleton a Grammys trophy for Best Country Song. He's competing against Jason Aldean's powerful duet with Miranda Lambert, "Drowns the Whiskey," which was written by Brandon Kinney, Jeff Middleton and Josh Thompson.

"Drunk Girl," Chris Janson's moving song that he wrote along with Scooter Carusoe and Tom Douglas, is up for not only Song of the Year, but Music Video of the Year as well. It's competing with Dan + Shay's big hit "Tequila" in both those categories; the song was written by Nicolle Galyon, Jordan Reynolds and Dan Smyers, and is also nominated for Single of the Year.

Who do you think should win Song of the Year at the 2018 CMA Awards? Vote in the poll below through the end of the day on Nov. 11. The Boot will use the answers in our readers vs. staff predictions a few days prior to the ceremony.

The 2018 CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 14. The show is scheduled to begin at 8PM ET on ABC, with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood returning as co-hosts for an 11th year.
