Snow Falling Around Colorado, Check Out the Roads
A large portion of Colorado enjoyed a little rain and or snow over the last couple of days. Check out twelve random highways and interstates from around Colorado.
Road alerts from COTrip.org, were fairly light Monday morning. Mostly, alerts were sent requiring passenger vehicles to be equipped with snow or mud/snow tires, be a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, or use chains. Areas with such restrictions in place this morning included I-70 between Vail and Copper Mountain, and between Silverthorne and Georgetown.
Grand Junction has yet to see the snow the weather services predicted for the weekend and Monday. The National Weather Service anticipates a 30% chance of snow Monday night, with snow returning by Friday.
The eastern end of the state saw little if any rain or snow. The mountain regions, along with the bulk of the Western Slope, saw varying degrees of snowfall. Take a quick tour of the entire state with the images captured at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 9, from COTrip.org.
